Justification

February 17, 2006

What would you use as a defence against ungrounded accusation? (not in the court)

A sound argument?
Laughing in his/ her face?
Some may prefer to show by one´s conduct that the accusation is not true.

Yet, I wonder whether the desire to justify oneself is also a form of ego, an outcry of self-affirmation. Supposed that it is, then the very act of justification itself will certainly not attenuate one’s ego. What is the best thing to do in this case then? Probably, to sit down and observe.

Aggre. Better to sit down and observe. But would there be any difference if it was grounded – albeit only slightly?
